Mrs Gill’s Christmas Cakes are a taste of luxury. They are made using our award winning Rich Fruit Cake recipe, laced with brandy and then once cooled glazed with apricot jam, a thick layer of marzipan and white icing and decorated to a high standard with ribbons, holly, fir cones or other festive adornments.
This cake is nicest when left to mature several months before eating which is why we start baking them well in advance before Christmas although you can request a freshly baked one if you prefer.
The Christmas Cake is available to order from September until mid December and can be made any size from 4” to 12”, round or square depending on your requirements.
As it is our busiest time of year we do ask that you get your order in as early as possible.
